Message an internal thermal shutdown switch which was killing power when the temps in the car were over 120 degrees.. This was never a problem while driving, but if the car was left in the sun for a little while, I wouldn't be able to turn it on until I ran the car and AC for a few minutes.. So I installed two additional cooling fans into the inverter - drilled breather holes in the casing of the inverter and that problem was fixed. I've had the 30GB HDD in there as the system drive for over three years now and the 40GB drive is about two and a half years old. Haven't had any problems out of the system for almost four years now.
